Long Locks & Bantu Knots

GET THE LOOK

Step 1:

Create center part and section left from right at high point of head. Starting in the right-side profile, section from center front hairline to parietal ridge just above the ear creating a pie section.

Step 2:

Apply artistrypro Sexyhair Avant-Guard Heat Protection & Finishing Spray to the root area.

Create a French two strand twist, twisting the hair counterclockwise.

Twist to ends of strands and create a bantu knot by twisting a small coil at the base of the scalp and continuing to wrap the rest of the hair around this section. Pin into place.

Step 3:

Moving into bottom section, apply artistrypro SexyHair Avant-Guard Heat Protection & Finishing Spray to the root area.

Repeat movements on bottom section.

Step 4:

Repeat sectioning and movements on opposite side this time twisting the hair clockwise.

Step 5:

In back profile, spray Style SexyHair Curl Power Curl Bounce Mousse at the root area for volume working in horizontal subsections.

Step 6:

Using a diffuser, working from the bottom up dry hair at root area for lift and volume.

Step 7:

Using artistrypro SexyHair Avant-Guard for thermal protection and hold, enhance curls using a tapered wand iron.

Step 8:

Polish style with Healthy SexyHair Smooth & Seal Anti-Frizz & Shine Spray.

Apply more Healthy SexyHair Smooth & Seal to finger tips to separate and polish curls.

Step 9:

Finish with artistrypro SexyHair Avant-Guard spraying upward into the style for lift and hold.
