Sexy Hair® Makes Major Expansion in Latin America
First-class Fetes Take Place in Uruguay and Argentina

Download pdf!Sexy Hair expanded to two major markets in Latin America distributing in Uruguay for the first time and relaunching in Argentina. The milestone was celebrated with first-class fiestas in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Montevideo, Uruguay.

Latin American distributor Servando Montero hosted two spectacular gala events. At each, Sexy Hair's top Latin artist, Josh Perez, teamed up with leading Uruguay artist and educator Fabian Barcena for haircut and product demonstrations. Barcena (who trained at Sexy Hair's education facility in Chatsworth, Calif., the Institute of Courage) and Perez presented the company's current haircut collection, "Headliner," using Sexy Hair's signature Structure In Motion cutting technique.

On Sept. 28, more than 300 beauty-industry insiders celebrated on a Buenos Aires yacht tailored specifically to Sexy Hair. Products were showcased on custom-made red and black cabinetry, and rooms were bathed in red light, with Sexy Hair's distinctive black and red logo used in the décor."Our distributor could not have captured Sexy Hair any better," said Marlene Amezcua, the company's director of education and shows. "From being on the yacht to hearing Queen's "We Will Rock You" -- Sexy Hair's theme song -- we rocked Argentina!"

The Oct.1 Montevideo party was held at Uruguay's most exclusive night spot, Lotus. Approximately 250 guests walked a Hollywood-style red carpet and entered behind a velvet rope as a live mariachi band played. Lotus' interior was transformed into Sexy Hair's own private club, decorated with the company logo, and Montero's sales team wore specially made Sexy Hair logo neckties.

"This is one of Sexy Hair's sexiest, most elegant and professional launches ever," said vice president of international sales Alicia Burnett. "We're very proud to be in partnership with one of the most reputable, long-standing distributors in Latin America. And it is so exciting to help the world get sexier and sexier!"

The Latin American expansion marks the company's sixth overseas launch this year, following Austria, Denmark, Finland, Panama and Sweden.
